George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad was incorporated in 1951 after having established itself in Penang in 1936 as a service branch of its then parent company, George Kent Limited, U.K, specializing in the fields of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering. It became a public-listed company in 1967 and has been listed on the Bursa Malaysia since 1971.

Today, George Kent continued to be a leading player in the Malaysian market. providing M&E products and services. It has diversified business interests in the water, process, flow and building industries and also undertake construction and infrastructure projects.

George Kent is transforming and reinventing to become a total solutions partner across all its businesses in manufacturing, marketing and distribution, provision of industrial products and services, infrastructure investments, construction and contracting.

Its hot brass-forging plant is the largest in the region specializing in the manufacturing of water meters and other non-ferrous products for the water and other related industries.

George Kent markets and distributes a comprehensive range of metering products and solutions as well as an extensive range of industrial products, services and solutions serving the water, process and flow, and building industries.

Besides water meters, George Kent also distribute other related metering products like valves and fittings and associated products for the water and related industries.

Instrumentations, telemetry systems and services, building automation/management systems (BMS) and building security systems (BSS) are some of other smart solutions that are provided by George Kent.
